Nicholas Meets Steph Curry
Nicholas’ wish was to meet NBA Star, Steph Curry.
Steph Curry is a true MVP both on and off the basketball court. In December 2015, Steph Curry in conjunction with the Golden State Warriors, fulfilled a very special wish for MLF Texas wish child, Nicholas. Nicholas has been battling chronic kidney disease for over a decade and has had to endure multiple transplants. Watching the Golden State Warriors provides Nicholas a great reprieve from painful days battling this disease.
Nicholas could not have been more excited to fly to California for this wish experience – where he got the true VIP treatment! Not only did he meet Steph Curry and attend the game courtside – he attended practice, a special dinner and was given gift bags from Steph’s sponsors. Meeting his favorite player is certainly a treasured memory and life changing experience that Nicholas will be carrying with him in the rough days ahead.
