Julia Gets Glammed Up
Julia, of Arlington, VA, is a very inspirational young lady. She has been battling cancer, kidney failure and various other ailments throughout her life. She has undergone transplants, amputations and has spent more time in a hospital than any child should. Throughout it all, she has maintained such beauty and grace. MLF could not believe this beautiful young lady would be requesting a makeover as her wish! Nonetheless, every girl should have the chance to feel glamorous and MLF was happy to oblige!
Working with Manhattan Makeovers President, Michael Christian, we arranged for Julia to visit NYC for this exciting wish. Starting at Federico Calce’s Salon, she had her makeup and hair done. She then was photographed in various shoots by Katie Levine Photography. She finished her special experience with a round of shopping on Manhattan’s coveted 5th Avenue. When Julia is dealing with less alluring procedures back at the hospital, she will always carry the enchanting memories from her wish trip with her.
