Bulls Wish Skate Recap

The Smithtown-Hauppauge Bulls Hockey Team held its first annual “WISH SKATE” event to benefit The Marty Lyons Foundation (MLF). The event raised over $9,000 and granted the wish of Finn, a 4-year-old boy from Middletown, NJ who has a rare and life-threatening genetic and neurological disorder.

His wish was for his own Customized Freedom Concepts adaptive bike, created in the theme of the NJ Devils as he is an avid fan!

Finn and his family attended the event in celebration of his wish being granted and his bike was presented unbeknownst to him!

Attendees also enjoyed a “Chuck A Puck” session, exceptional raffle prizes, visits from local mascots as well as time with Marty Lyons, Founder & Chairman of the Board of the Foundation.

As a finale – there was a LIVE drawing cast over social media for the winner of a 3 night/4 day stay at a Walt Disney Resort for 4, generously contributed by partners of the Foundation, Academy Travel. Congratulations to the winner Sam Guido!
