The North Carolina Chapter hit a hole in one with their first golf outing held on Monday, September 30th, at the beautiful Cape Fear National Golf Course at Brunswick Forest.
Lynne D’Eramo, NC Chapter President, put together a wonderful event which began on Sunday evening with a VIP Welcome Dinner. Guests who attended the dinner had their choice of fun raffle prizes, exciting silent auction items and some of the best Southern cooking.
The weather was perfect on Monday morning for golfers who wanted practice time at the driving range and putting green. The sun came out full force by noon as temperatures climbed to almost 90 degrees.
The day was still beautiful and golfers were all good sports playing in the uncomfortable heat while supporting the Marty Lyons Foundation’s mission – doing it Fore the Kids!
