MLF’s 40^th Celebrity Golf Classic Milestone Moments

The Marty Lyons Foundation held its 40th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic (CGC) at one of Long Island’s most exclusive golf clubs, the Old Westbury Golf & Country Club.

A moment of inclement weather did not infringe on the enjoyment of friends and supporters at one of Long Island’s Top 10 courses, followed by an exquisite extended cocktail hour & dinner, that included a moving program and award presentations.

The Foundation’s kind and dedicated supporter, Don Gregory, was this year’s Honoree and the recipient of the Keith Muglia Person of the Year Award. Don’s genuine, humble and humorous acceptance speech felt like an embrace to all of the guests in attendance.

Our evening program included heartfelt testimonies and monumental contributions from partnering organizations and supporters. A stellar moment was a presentation from The Dejana Foundation announcing their generous contribution of $200,000 towards granting children’s wishes.

Giveaways, raffles, silent/live auctions, and more enhanced the celebration, making this year’s event one to remember!

We were blessed to have over 400 attendees, including 30+ celebrities. This combined dedicated support helped raise over $350,000 to continue making wishes come true for our special kiddos.
