Q104’s Charity Begins At HomeDecember 11, to December 15, 2006 The Marty Lyons Foundation has been selected for the third year to benefit from the 104 hour-straight broadcast and rock-auction to raise funds through Q104’s “Charity Begins at Home”. The Foundation has made a pledge to send volunteers on Thursday, December 14th for the 10am-3pm and 3pm-7pm shifts. Marty has made a made pledge to make an appearance during the 3pm to 7pm shift. so that we can add your name to the list for the security check-in. The Q104 Studio is at 1180 Ave. of the Americas, 6th floor. Cross streets 46th and 47th Sts. Come in 15 minutes before your shift and bring an ID. Here’s the schedule for the whole week: Monday 10am-3pm; 3pm-7pm; 7pm-12mid Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - 6am-10am; 10am-3pm; 3pm-7pm; 7pm-12mid Friday - 6am-10am; 10am-2pm; 2pm-5pm THE END

Please invite your friends and colleagues to come and help with Q104’s efforts.If they can’t, have them call in during our time slot with their donations. Last year, three huge disasters drew donations away. Let’s help Q-104 have a banner year to support those in need in our own community. Just remember, $1,000 can help a local food pantry feed many people esp. the elderly and the children.In our case, $1,000 fulfills a child’s wish to go on a shopping spree for things the family can’t afford! |
