Walsh Fabrication Raises $15,000 for Ill Children

Written by Gina Covell

John Walsh and his employees started supporting the Marty Lyons Foundation eight years ago. Three years ago the company raised a total of $5,000. This year they raised $15,000 to donate to children with terminal or life threatening illnesses in their area. The funds donated to this organization make these ill children’s wishes come true. The wishes include everything from a swim in the ocean to a trip to Disney and they make memories that mean the world to families. Walsh also presented Oscar Jimenez, South Atlantic Division Sales Manager, with a trophy for his help with the fundraising. Next year the goal is $30,000.
